Sicilia Encantada is located just off Via Etnea, in the heart of Catania’s historic center — within walking distance of the city’s main attractions.

🚌 By Bus

If you’re arriving in Catania by public transport, reaching Sicilia Encantada is simple and convenient.
From Catania Fontanarossa Airport, take the AMTS “Alibus” shuttle — it runs every 20 minutes from the arrivals terminal to the city center.
Get off at the “Stesicoro” stop, just a short walk from Via Etnea and Via Montesano, where Palazzo Paternò di Jaci is located.

From the Central Train Station, you can also take any city bus heading toward “Centro / Stesicoro”.
The journey takes around 10 minutes, and you’ll arrive just steps away from the residence.

🚗 By Car

If you’re arriving in Catania by car, Sicilia Encantada is easy to reach from all main routes leading to the city center.
Follow the signs for “Centro / Via Etnea”, then turn onto Via Montesano, where Palazzo Paternò di Jaci is located.
Please note that the residence is situated in the historic pedestrian area, so vehicle access is limited.

You can park nearby at Piazza Università or Parcheggio Borsellino, both just a 3–5 minute walk from the residence.
Public parking and guarded options are available, with daily rates depending on duration.

🚅 By Train

If you’re arriving by train, Sicilia Encantada is located less than 1.5 km from Catania Centrale Station.
From the station, you can reach the residence in about 15 minutes on foot or in 5 minutes by taxi.
The route leads directly toward Via Etnea, the city’s main boulevard, and then into Via Montesano, where Palazzo Paternò di Jaci stands.

City buses also connect the station to the historic center with frequent service.
Take any bus heading to “Centro / Stesicoro” and get off near Piazza Università, just a short walk from the residence.

🛫 Form Airport

Catania Fontanarossa Airport (Vincenzo Bellini) is only 6 km from Sicilia Encantada — about 15 minutes by car.
You can easily reach the residence by taxi, private transfer, or the AMTS “Alibus” shuttle that connects the airport to the city center every 20 minutes.

If you take the Alibus, get off at the “Stesicoro” stop, a few steps from Via Etnea and Via Montesano, where Palazzo Paternò di Jaci is located.
Taxis and ride-sharing services are available directly at the arrivals area.

Unfortunately, pets are not allowed inside the residence, in order to maintain the integrity of the historic interiors and furnishings.

Can I smoke inside the apartment?

No, Sicilia Encantada is a non-smoking residence.
You may use the outdoor terrace for fresh air.

Is the residence suitable for families?

Absolutely. The spacious layout (134 m²), three bedrooms, and full kitchen make Sicilia Encantada ideal for couples, families, or small groups seeking comfort and privacy.

Do you offer airport transfers?

Yes, upon request we can arrange private transfers from and to Catania Airport with an external transfer for an additional fee.
